Disney has a live-action romantic comedy coming our way based entirely around one of their most popular characters, Tinkerbell. The film is simply titled Tink, and the Mouse House already has their star.
Elizabeth Banks for Tink
Elizabeth Banks has been cast to play the title character in Tink, while Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and McG have been brought on to produce.
Elizabeth Wright Shapiro, who helped develop the project, along with McG, will write the script. While I can only wonder what sort of pitch brought Disney on board, the studio is keeping all plot elements secret at the moment.
What we do know is that Banks has a couple films coming our way including The Next Three Days and The Details.
