I don't know if it's the director, the script or the chance to work alongside Robert Downey Jr., but both Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively are romancing Warner Bros for the chance to star in Gravity.

Directed by the great Alfonso Cuaron off a script he co-wrote with his brother Jonas, Gravity revolves around astronauts repairing the Hubble telescope who are hit with an avalanche of satellite junk. The surviving astronaut must fight her way back to Earth, where she hopes to reunite with her daughter.
Johansson and Lively have both tested for the lead role of female astronaut looking to make her return to Earth.
Though Robert Downey Jr. will bring some star power to the movie, Warner Bros is putting a lot of importance on this female lead.
