Though Battleship has already entered production, the film is still out seeking a cast. The latest addition is a big one, with Liam Neeson coming aboard.
Liam Neeson for Battleship
Neeson joins Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna in Battleship, the Universal Pictures adaptation of the popular Hasbro board game.
Directed by Peter Berg off a script by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber, which was then later revised by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, Battleship takes place across the seas, over the skies and land in a battle for planet survival against a superior force. Neeson will portray Admiral Shane alongside Kitsch, who portrays Shane's future son-in-law. Decker is playing Shane's daughter. Skarsgard will play the brother to Kitsch's character.
