Chris Noth will always be Mr. Big to his fans, so no matter how many Law & Order episodes he does, we'll have Mr. Big questions. Now that he's shot the Sex and the City movie, he may have some answers, but he's not giving anything away.

Chris Noth on Sex and the City

"I can honestly say from the writing and what we’ve shot that I’m pretty happy," said Noth. "With the schedule and the sort of doing double duty, I was a little unsure if I could keep up with it. I was happy with what we got."

Many fans may expect closure from the movie. Big and Carrie have been on and off for six seasons of the show already. "It’s a continuation. I mean, I’m not sure anything needs to be resolved. They’re a part of each other’s lives, through all the twists and turns, and there’s a lot of different twists and turns, but it’s life I guess. He’s a big part of her life."

Going from Det. Logan to Mr. Big takes Noth to the nicer parts of New York than the streets. "It’s different locations, a more upscale Manhattan, but both great. It’s great fun and both great characters. I’m lucky to have played two that have lasted as long as they have."

New York welcomed the Sex and the City crew back with open arms. "We were mobbed in Sex and the City on the first week. I mean, every set we were on there were 500 people with their camera phones. I mean, I’ve never seen anything like it and they stayed there all day long. So that was pretty interesting."

Noth has even been verbally assaulted on the Law & Order set by a surprising Sex and the City fan. A burly truck driver was not the typical demographic. "We thought he was going to jump out and go, 'You f*ckers have been holding me up all day. Get your asses out of here.' It was like he was going to be really pissed off and it was like, 'When are you going to marry Carrie?' That’s all he wanted."

He's not the only fan who wants that. "You’ll have to tune into the movie to find out," teased Noth.

The gang was prepared to fake out the internet scoopers too. "The reality is we had to film a lot of fake endings because there were so many people on the set and so everything we were doing was photographed and put online and perused, and sort of like dissected. It was a little bit weird. I never, ever been on a set where there was that much interest in trying to figure out what was going on. Everyone got it in the papers completely wrong because everything is so out of context they don’t understand just because they see someone in a wedding dress, it doesn’t necessarily mean what they think it’s going to mean. That’s the beauty of the movie."
