There’s something comforting about watch an episode of Family Ties. It’s one of those sitcoms that any age viewer can enjoy, and sometimes… learn something from. But mostly, just to laugh with.
DVD Review: Family Ties: The Second Season
This DVD covers the second season of the show, as it falls into the strong stride that carried for several seasons more.
The special features are especially good on this DVD set. There’s an interesting Making Of… documentary and a very funny featurette about Steven Keaton’s beard. Most entertaining though, is a documentary/interview with Michael J. Fox.
This is, after all, the vehicle which began his excellent career. Fox has some wonderful stories to share about the show and the actors involved.
Family Ties is one of the classic sitcoms that will stand out for decades to come. This DVD set is just another reminder of that. Make sure to check out the Michael J. Fox featurette – it’s can’t-miss material.
