I Am Legend
While I Am Legend featured a plotline that had both a beginning and the end, a source tells Shocktillyoudrop that author Richard Matheson has signed off on sequel rights if Warner Bros. did want to move forward with a next installment.
Sequel Alert: I Am Legend
How could there be a next installment? Well, I don't want to give anything away, but there is room for more story. Then again, there was also more story available for Children of Men; and who out there wants to see that?
In both films the world is so fu*@ed that a sequel wouldn't help lift any spirits.
On the other hand, I Am Legend is making hand over fist both domestically and overseas, so one can understand why Warner Bros. would one day want to option a new installment. But who to play the title character?
