Ashley Tisdale
I am staring at the box for High School Musical 2 and think about gagging every time I try to get through it. It's not that it's bad, it's just so happy that it goes full circle to make me sick.
Strange, I know. What isn't strange, however, is having High School Musical's hottie Ashley Tisdale finally pick up her first feature film.
Ashley Tisdale for They Came From Upstairs
20th Century Fox has focused on picking up a B-cast for They Came From Upstairs, with Ashley Tisdale leading a pack that includes Step Up 2's Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins, Austin Butler, Ashley Boettcher and Henri and Regan Young.
The script, by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg, revolves around a group of teens who team up to defend their Maine vacation home from aliens who have invaded via the upstairs.
Tisdale is best known for playing rich-girl Sharpay Evans in Disney's High School Musical TV-movies. She will shoot They Came From Upstairs and will then immediately move back to a third installment of Musical once production wraps.
High School Musical will be directed by John Schultz.
