Though Bale has got quite a few big projects coming our way, the actor could always use more. Looking to team with Michael Mann and Johnny Depp, Bale is currently in negotiations to co-star in Public Enemies.

According to a person familiar with the situation, Bale will play Melvin Purvis, the legendary FBI agent who led the manhunt for John Dillinger. Depp is starring as Dillinger in the pic, which is set up at Universal and is slated to begin production in March.
Mann will also produce under his Forward Pass banner.
Bale was recently seen in I'm Not There and 3:10 to Yuma. He already has a couple big projects coming our way including The Dark Knight and Terminator Salvation.
