Isla Fisher has found company with the addition of Hugh Dancy and Krysten Ritter to Disney's romantic comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic.
Hugh Dancy, Krysten Ritter for Confessions of a Shopaholic
Based on the best-selling novels by Sophie Kinsella, Confessions of a Shopaholic features Isla Fisher as a compulsive shopper who finds herself up to her neck in debt. As a chance if irony, she becomes a financial-advice columnist.
Dancy stars as the editor of the financial magazine where Fisher works. Ritter plays Fisher's best friend.
P.J. Hogan will direct off a script by Tim Firth, Tracey Jackson and Kayla Alpert. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce.
Confessions of a Shopaholic marks the third movie Dancy has done with Bruckheimer, following King Arthur and Black Hawk Down.
Ritter can be seen in the romantic comedy 27 Dresses.
Confessions of a Shopaholic is expected to begin filming next month in New York and Connecticut.
