Defiance
Paramount Vantage has released the first trailer for the World War II drama Defiance. If the story doesn't capture you -- though it most definitely should -- Paramount Vantage might have just created the best trifecta of talent I have seen in a long time: Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell.

Defiance revolves around Jewish brothers (Craig, Schreiber and Bell) living in Nazi-occupied Poland who escape into the Belarussian forest where they join Russian resistance fighters in battling the Nazis. Throughout the war, they build a village inside the forest and save the lives of more than 1,200 Jews. Zwick's screenplay is based on Nechama Tec's book "Defiance: The Bielski Partisans."
The trailer for the film gives the proper mix of struggle, determination and action. Sure to be depressing.
