Adrien Brody and Jeffrey Wright have been picked up to play some music bigwigs in Sony BMG Film's Cadillac Records.

Brody will play famed blues/R&B record exec Leonard Chess, and Wright will be Muddy Waters. The pair will join Columbus Short, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Cedric the Entertainer and Tammy Blanchard.
Written and directed by Darnell Martin, Cadillac Records explores Chicago in the 1950s, charting the colorful lives of American musical legends like Waters, Chess, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf and Elvis Presley.
The film will take advantage of settings in both New Jersey and Mississippi.
