While Heath Ledger has been keeping our interest for The Dark Knight, we have just been alerted to some terrible news. According to AP, the 28 year old actor was found dead in his downtown Manhattan residence.

It looks like drugs have taken yet another talented individual long before their time. Though only assumed at the moment, the police claim that the death is likely drug-related.
Ledger had an appointment for a massage at his Manhattan apartment and, when the masseuse arrived, his housekeeper sought him out only to find him dead.
Heath Ledger can next be seen in The Dark Knight. The actor was nominated for his role in Brokeback Mountain.
