Though it was Heroes that made him a star, Milo Ventimiglia is still working on expanding his filmography. Joining up with Laurence Fishburne and Jean Reno, Milo will lead this trio to Screen Gems heist actioner Armored.
Fishburne, Ventimiglia, Reno for Armored
Armored will center on a young armored car guard who is persuaded by his veteran cohorts to empty a truck of its $10 million cargo.
Nimrod Antal will direct off a script by James V. Simpson.
Matt Dillon, Columbus Short, Fred Ward and Skeet Ulrich have already boarded the project, which is currently shooting in Los Angeles.
Continuing to add projects to his filmography -- where does he find the time? -- Ventimiglia recently wrapped Game and Chaos Theory.
Glad to see Jean Reno back in roles that have him playing a good guy; he is The Professional for heck's sake! We last saw him hunting down Tom Hanks in The Da Vinci Code.
