While I don't usually care about what Julia Roberts is up to considering that every role she plays should be tagged 'Julia Roberts is Julia Roberts,' my opinion has recently shifted thanks to Charlie Wilson's War. Joining up with Columbia Pictures for the adaptation of Margot Berwin's upcoming novel Hothouse Flowers, Roberts is already attached to both star and produce.
Julia Roberts for Hothouse Flowers
In Hothouse Flowers Roberts will play a recently divorced woman who is dissatisfied with her job at a Manhattan ad agency and goes off on an adventure that takes her to places she never expected to go.
As expected, the project has yet to find a writer to adapt the novel into a screenplay thanks to the ongoing writers strike.
Roberts recently wrapped Fireflies in the Garden and will next begin filming Duplicity.
