Dennis Quaid
The G.I. Joe casting updates continue to march in. As announced yesterday, Channing Tatum has been confirmed as Duke Hauser. What wasn't expected, however, was Dennis Quaid's involvement.
Dennis Quaid is General Hawk
Dennis Quaid has been cast to play Genreal Hawk, the grizzled team leader in G.I. Joe. Quaid and Tatum will join Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rachel Nichols, Sienna Miller, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Said Taghmaoui.
After finding success with Transformers, Lorenzo di Bonaventura has drafted himself to produce the adaptation. Stephen Sommers is onboard to direct off a script by Stuart Beattie.
Tatum is looking to have a busy season. He will start by giving us our first look of him sporting fatigues in Stop-Loss and will get in front of the camera for Michael Mann's Public Enemies.
Not to be outdone, Dennis Quaid has a couple of his own projects set to hit theaters including Smart People and Vantage Point.
