Coach: The Third Season
The only extra on Coach: Season Three is a fictional piece of Mary Hart profiling the character played by Craig T. Nelson. I'm not sure where this came from. Back in the '90s, would this have aired on the network?
DVD Review: Coach: The Third Season
The sketches are a bit clunky but it's cute that they tried. Nelson plays the character as well as ever. It's just a somewhat awkward idea, but an interesting piece of old school PR attempts. And really, it's mostly clips from the show.
It's odd that the focus of this piece is the sexual dynamics, and it makes the show look really sexist. I don't remember that being the focal point of the show but then maybe I didn't get it when I was a kid. It is long too, so it must have been a full hour slot on TV, though only a few minutes of original material.
