Semi-Pro Being Censored?

Semi-Pro Poster Semi-Pro
Here's what I think about the latest rumor circulating for Semi-Pro: I can only hope that it's not true. Once you commit to a hilarious red band trailer and a beer commercial, you've pretty much committed your film to becoming R-rated. People who drink beer are usually over the age of 21 and can get into R-rated films.

MPAA Decision: Semi-Pro

'Bradley' has alerted us to some chatter flying around over at IMDB claiming that New Line might be looking to get Semi-Pro edited down to PG-13.

Well, can you say, "Suck my cock - I'll murder your family!," in PG-13? No? Then I already don't like it.

While this news is only hearsay at the moment, we are going to have to just sit and wait for New Line's response. Odds that the rumor is true? I'd like to say no chance, but studios get massive boners over the idea of PG-13.

Semi-Pro opens to theaters on February 29th.
