I hate to be superficial, but Jonah Hill is due to shed a few pounds. I know it's his whole persona and all, but watching Accepted becomes hard at times, especially considering that he is playing an obese high school graduate.
Why would I swing below the belt? I like the guy, he is hilarious, and there is no point losing another great funnyman early due to bad health.
That being said, Jonah Hill and Louis C.K. has been cast to join Ricky Gervais in This Side of the Truth.
Jonah Hill, Louis C.K. for This Side of the Truth
This Side of the Truth takes place in a world where everybody tells the truth. Gervais plays a storyteller whose job is to ramble on about the 1300s. Faced with losing his job because his terrain is a boring period in history once he gets beyond the Black Death, he invents lying as a way to save himself. As a perk, the man's new edge allows him to seduce a woman (Garner) who is way out of his league.
Hill will play Mark's humorous neighbor who also suffers from depression, while Louis C.K. will play Mark's loser best friend.
Since Ricky Gervais and Matt Robinson co-wrote the script, they will also co-direct.
