Lionsgate has released the feature trailer for The Forbidden Kingdom and, as expected, the film is quite the martial arts spectacle.

In Forbidden Kingdom, American teenager Jason (Michael Angarano), who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kungfu classics, finds an antique Chinese staff in a pawn shop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King (Jet Li). With the lost relic in hand, Jason unexpectedly finds himself transported back to ancient China.
While the teaser trailer for The Forbidden Kingdom starts off with goofy humor, the feature version is all about the action. Sure, it still takes the time to show some humor -- which sadly includes listening to Jackie Chan talk -- but this time we get a full introduction to the cast of characters and their surprising abilities.
Note to self: Asian chicks that can kick ass are smoking hot.
