You know you've made it as a director when every update about your upcoming film is sure to include your name. Like this: Uwe Boll's Far Cry Trailer. Unfortunately for Boll, this is not exactly the case. Returning to unsuccessfully adapting video games -- but we do appreciate the effort -- Uwe Boll is hoping that Far Cry is the one that scores. Based on the popular video game, how can in not?

I just can't figure it out. Why does every Uwe Boll production look like a made-for-television movie? There seems to be some extra-expensive action sequences here, but the cinematography looks cheap and the dialogue sounds poorly recorded. Eh, maybe I'm just caught up with the whole "Blast Uwe Boll" majority and not giving it a fair chance. Then again, maybe not...
