Got a couple unconfirmed casting updates for X-Men Origins: Wolverine coming your way thanks to Joblo and IESB.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Casting
According to Joblo, it will be Danny Huston who plays young William Stryker. You might remember the actor from 30 Days of Night.
A source close to the production tells us that actor Danny Huston (30 DAYS OF NIGHT) has signed on to star as William Stryker in WOLVERINE and is already on location in New Zealand prepping for his part. Odd since I had heard that Hall also was in New Zealand but that could've just been rumors.
To follow that up, IESB has learned that the beautiful Lynn Collins has been picked up to play Silver Fox, a character that will be smoking Wolverine's cigar (if you know what I mean) until Sabretooth tries to give her a first-class ticket to the afterlife.
Lynn Collins (Number 23, Bug) has beat both beauties for the highly coveted role of Kayla Silverfox A.K.A. Silver Fox. We have been able to confirm the casting news with our sources at the studio.
Silver Fox is a lover of Wolverine who first appeared in Wolverine vol.2 #10, where she is apparently killed by Sabretooth. She is later revealed to be alive and a member of "Team X," the best covert ops team the CIA had to offer, and is one of a few female victims of the Weapon X project.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens to theaters on May 1st.
