Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
While I don't know exactly where this site gets its information, Lowry Updates claims that David Yates will remain close to the Potter franchise by directing the seventh installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Yates to Direct Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?
Though I'm fine with Yates staying onboard, I did like the idea of switching up the director again for the franchises final installment. Especially considering that Deathly Hallows could be filmed as a two-parter, we want to make sure that whoever is behind the camera doesn't get burned out.
Bad news from The Giver Movie front. David Yates, the director currently working on the next Harry Potter film, was supposed to begin The Giver film next. But he has just decided he wants to do the final Harry Potter first, thereby postponing The Giver by several years. Maybe the opening of this film could be held simultaneously with my celebration-of-life service after I succumb to old age? Or the producers will decide to get a different director.
