Quick update coming your way for Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Universal Pictures and Dark Horse plan on a releasing a new 16-page comic for the film that details the rise of The Golden Army. Written by Mike Mignola, from a story by Hellboy II director Guillermo del Toro, the prequel comic features three different collectable covers (Hellboy, Abe and Liz), and will be distributed at conventions and events leading up to the film’s release on July 11, 2008.
To get us excited about the project, Universal has released a small preview.
