No Country for Old Men
Before I get to the list of winners for this year's 80th Annual Academy Awards, I feel it is important to point out two things.
First: Let it be said that I missed only one (out of the nine largest brackets) in predicting this year's awards show. I could have sworn Best Actress was going to Julie Christie, but I guess not. If they had Academy gambling in Vegas, I would have retired after this show.
Second: Congratulations to Jon Stewart for remaining witty for the show's entire running. It looks like second time is a charm. While I felt that he did a fine job the first time, this second go was much approved. Sure, he might have given a few too many seconds to political jokes, but we'll let him slide for some of his quick maneuvers on stage.
