You Don't Mess with the Zohan
Long time scooper 'Bradley' has alerted us to some negative screening reports for You Don't Mess with the Zohan plus what sounds to be agreement that the film will likely get an R rating from the MPAA. It does have some Judd Apatow involvement, so I assume one foot usually follows the other.
You Don't Mess with the Zohan Rated R?
While I admit that this is only a discussion group, if you head on over to IMDB you will find some early screening reports for You Don't Mess with the Zohan along with a rumor that this film is looking at an R rating from the MPAA.
I guess we could have guessed this considering that the MPAA is very sensitive towards sexual content, and Sandler's constant air and head humping could be enough to push the film out of PG-13 contention.
was at the screening and thought it was funny. It's not exactly the Apatow formula people are used to. It's very silly and goofy. Heard that's it's going to be rated R. If you like the trailer. You'll probably like the movie. But don't expect to see a Knocked Up-like movie. It's Sandler being crazy funny.
Since we still have a got a few months before the film's release, I wouldn't expect any rating confirmations until a week before.
You Don't Mess with the Zohan opens to theatres on June 6th.
