Rose Byrne
Summit Entertainment felt that Nicolas Cage could use some eye candy in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Knowing and picked up Rose Byrne to fill the void. Talented and well, take a look at the picture to the right...
Rose Byrne for Knowing
Byrne will play the daughter of a woman who buried a 1962 time capsule bearing the dates of the assassinations of historical figures, the hotel fire death of the wife of a professor (Cage) and an imminent world apocalypse. After the professor discovers its contents and alerts her, the initially skeptical Byrne begins remembering strange incidents from her childhood.
Alex Proyas -- the same Proyas who gave us Smith's I, Robot -- will direct off a script by Ryne Douglas Pearson. Proyas gave the screenplay some personal touches along with Juliet Snowden, Stiles White and Stuart Hazeldine.
Summit Entertainment will fully finance and distribute Knowing. The film is expected to enter production March 25th in Melbourne, Australia.
After making love to Brad Pitt in Troy, Byrne went on to thrillers such as Sunshine and 28 Weeks Later.
