Considered a politically incorrect tale, Pierre Pierre centers on a self-indulgent French nihilist who transports a stolen painting from Paris to London. The laugher is moderately budgeted with $13 million, which reminds one that Carrey has been paid more than this in a single sitting.
The Reitman-Carrey spec package sparked a heated bidding war that came down to Universal, Mandate and Atomic.
