Though I can't remember John Krasinsksi's last attempt at a romantic comedy, License to Wed, really working out, The Office star is willing to give the genre another shot. Krasinski will team up with Maya Rudolph and Cheryl Hinds in Sam Mendes' untitled romantic comedy for Focus Features.

The romantic comedy will follow an couple (Krasinski, Rudolph) as they travel the country in search of a place to put down roots and raise a family.
Mendes will direct off a script by Dave Eggers and wife Vendela Vida.
John Krasinski can next be seen enjoying gags opposite George Clooney in the period sports comedy Leatherheads, which is set to hit theaters next month.
Maya Rudolph is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live. She and Krasinski recently worked together on Shrek the Third.
