Warner Bros. felt that we didn't get a proper taste of Speed Racer's high-octane, CG action during the film's teaser trailer. They have hence released two international trailers full of er, color.
International Trailers: Speed Racer
Two new international trailers are now available for Speed Racer and, surprisingly enough, both trailers do feature a crapload of new footage from the film. The racing looks like a blast, and I have to admit that I am somewhat surprised to hear dialogue that not only fits, but somehow avoids coming off as cheesy. With a film that looks like this it is easy to see it quickly downshift to corny. Fortunately that is not the case, providing further evidence that the Wachowski brothers have an excellent grasp on how to tell a story; just as long as they avoid overusing 'concordantly', 'ergo' and 'vis-à-vis'.
