OK, not that I want to brag (yeah right), but the Top 12 are just as I predicted. (Check this week’s performance recaps.) For the guys, the handsome Luke Menard and spunky Danny Noriega were sent packing. On the girls’ side, the perky Asia’h Epperson and the pouty Kady Malloy made their exit.
More than any other season, I am looking forward to the performances of the Top 12. This is the most talented group ever. They will perform on the new, larger stage. This week’s theme will be The Beatles. What a wide variety of material that offers.

Here are the Top 12 in order of my current favorites.
Carly Smithson – the best voice in the competition, just needs to start bringing it.
Brooke White – beautiful voice, beautiful girl, consistently good performances.
David Archuleta – adorable, a perfect teen idol.
David Cook – fresh and interesting, a good performer.
Ramiele Malubay – can be a real contender, better song selection is key.
David Hernandez – good singer, good performer, negative press will hurt him in the end.
Michael Johns – a real wild card, talented performer, girls love the Aussies.
Jason Castro – a sweet beautiful voice, just too shy.
Syesha Mercado – cute, beautiful voice, great personality, can see acting in her future.
Chikezie – smooth voice, could really shine in R&B.
Kristy Lee Cook – has not been consistent, perfect look and voice for country.
Amanda Overmyer – has talent is in a very specific genre, looks more uncomfortable each week.
