Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Are our Potter readers coming back? Well, I hope so, as I sure do miss them. Maybe I need to come up with a new theory. Hmmmm, should be hard to do considering that all the books have been released.
David Yates to Direct Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Important detail, right? 'Potterfan' was sure to point out that we weren't the only ones to miss this major detail. Just trying to make us feel better? Maybe, but moving on.
I guess the excitement of having eight Potter films got the best of us. I enjoyed Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, David Yates' directing debut in the Potter franchise, and am looking forward to see what he has in store for us with Half-Blood Prince, Deathly Hallows: Part IandDeathly Hallows: Part II.
David Yates, director of the fifth and sixth films, will return and make the final two films concurrently. Screenwriter Steve Kloves also returns, and, by the completion of the franchise, he will have written seven of the eight films.
While I admit that part of me had hoped for Alfonso Cuarón to return for the last Potter installment(s), David Yates definitely has a strong grasp of the material at hand.
