Not exactly a Golden Army
ShoWest is beginning to live up to its hype. The convention has begun releasing early/exclusive trailers including one for Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army Trailer Description
The good people at IESB have posted a pretty descriptive description (say that three times fast) of what we can expect to see from the new trailer for Hellboy II. By the sounds of it, the new preview comes packaged with tons of new footage and a better look at the film's collection of creatures.
It opens at an auction where an ancient crown in going up on the block. The auctioneer tells everyone it's history and how it belonged to a lost kingdom. Suddenly the mysterious white-skinned elven prince shows up with a troll and steals it.
The narration -- similar to the first trailer -- introduces Hellboy and the BPRD. We see Hellboy, Liz and Abe investigating an old house and they're attack by a swarm of fairies.
There's quite a few shots of the underground kingdom of monsters and Hellboy walks among them with special glasses on which lets him see their true form. He goes up to an old woman and sees her as fat worm-thing.
