The first feature trailer for Tropic Thunder opens as an awesome action film only to segway into a huge segment of comedy. So, it starts as an action romp and then quickly downshifts into comedy. No matter, as the latter third of the preview shows off the film's meat, which, as you might have guessed, looks like one of the greatest action-comedies to ever grace the bigscreen.
The idea of actors assuming they are still in a big-budget war film (while in real danger) is just classic. Think Three Amigos, but in a jungle lacking Mexicans. Watch the trailer for Tropic Thunder in Quicktime at Yahoo! Movies or below:
