The cast of Max Payne continues to grow with the addition of Beau Bridges.
Beau Bridges to Feel Max Payne
Max Payne is based on the hit Rockstar vidgame that will be distributed by 20th Century Fox who, mind you, have been working harder than Uwe Boll to get more videogames to the silverscreen. John Moore will direct the film off a script by Beau Thorne.
Bridges will play B.B. Hensley, a former cop and mentor figure to Max Payne, who helps him track down a cunning, ruthless killer.
Mark Wahlberg stars as Payne, a maverick cop determined to track down those responsible for the murder of his partner and family. Mila Kunis has been cast to play an assassin who teams with Payne to avenge her sister's death.
Bridges was nominated for an Emmy last year for guest actor in a comedy for his role as Carl Hickey, father of Jason Lee's Earl Hickey on NBC's "My Name Is Earl."
