After a pile of rumors and a script review that Fox quickly got removed, the studio has confirmed a theatrical release date for The A-Team.
The A-Team Sets Sights on 2009
20th Century Fox has scheduled John Singleton's film version of the 1980s TV series The A-Team for release on June 12th, 2009.
Singleton will direct The A-Team off a script by writing duo Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. The pair of scribes are responsible for both Wanted and 3:10 to Yuma.
Though casting hasn't been announced, we can assume that the film will revolve around Hannibal Smith and his team of former special forces soldiers, who have been set up for a crime they didn't commit. They'll get in more gunfights than you can shake a fist at and still never die. Yes - they are that special.
