Chock up yet another comicbook being prepped for adaptation. Having some experience with the genre, Tobey Maguire has joined up with the project to produce.
Maguire to Help Adapt Afterburn
Created by Paul Ens adn Scott Chitwood, Afterburn begins one year after a solar flare burns half of the planet, when treasure hunters go back the scorched portion to retrieve valuable artifacts.
Relativity is currently in talks to board the project.
Maguire recently wrapped Brothers, where he will star opposite Gyllenhaal, and can next be spotted doing a cameo in Tropic Thunder.
