Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Still relying on the controversial Scrat, we should have known that 20th Century Fox would have used the rodent to kick off their first trailer for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs Teaser Preview
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, to be fully produced in 3-D, is the latest installment to the hit Ice Age franchise, which has grossed more than $1.2 billion around the world. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs will be directed by Oscar-nominated Carlos Saldanha, who directed Ice Age: The Meltdown and co-directed Ice Age. The film is being produced by Academy Award-winning Blue Sky Studios, the creative force behind all the Ice Age films and the upcoming Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who.
Since Scrat chocks up easy laughs, the rodent, while hunting nuts of course, is the one who breaks the surface on this whole introduction to the dinosaurs.
Historically I don't think the addition of dinosaurs is accurate, but at least the new species will serve up some entertainment value and cool visuals.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs opens to theaters on July 1st.
