It hasn't been since Home of the Brave since we've heard anything from Curtis Jackson. The rapper turned actor is currently in negotiations to star in the independently financed drama Spectacular Regret.

Just in case Curtis falls through, the production has also picked up Danny Huston, John Ortiz and Kelli Garner. If he agrees to come aboard, Jackson will play a death row inmate whose imminent execution has made him a cause celebrity. The drama interconnects with four Angelenos struggling to overcome past events.
Joshua Leonard will make his feature debut as director off a script he wrote. Though he's a rookie, Leonard does have some experience behind the camera. He was one of the 'stars' in The Blair Witch Project.
Spectacular Regret is scheduled to enter production July in L.A.
