Here's an impressive casting update. The anthology compilation of shorts known as New York, I Love You will not only feature the helming debuts of both Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, but it will showcase many popular faces including Orlando Bloom, Olivia Thirlby, Hayden Christensen and Ethan Hawke.

The quartet mentioned are a few of many who have boarded the production, a mixture of contemplative romance and unabashed civic boosterism. I Love You found motivation from Paris, je t'aime, a surprise hit last year, and will follow the same format.
Besides Johansson and Portman, other directors involved in the production include include Mira Nair, Brett Ratner and Alan Hughes, plus international helmers such as Fatih Akin, Andrey Zvyagintsev and Wen Jiang.
