Since the adaptation of Transformers worked out so well for Shia LaBeouf, he figured he might as well try another. Instead of giant robots, however, LaBeouf will try his hand at the surprisingly targeted 'techno thriller' genre with the adaptation of Alan Glynn's 2002 novel The Dark Fields.
Shia LaBeouf for Dark Fields
To be directed by Neil Burger off a script by Leslie Dixon, Dark Fields (remove the 'The') centers on a young man who comes into possession of the ultimate smart pill, and the events that ensue.
Dixon agreed to write the script at a discounted rate in order to have more control over the project.
