Milla Jovovich
Milla Jovovich has been due a hit of recent. Yes, I know she's been making it happen with the Resident Evil franchise, but she needs to bang something special out that doesn't involve a trilogy. You know - something like The Fifth Element; the same film that gave birth to my heavy infatuation of the model slash actress.
It then seems fitting that her next standalone film will be titled The 4th Kind.
Milla Jovovich for The 4th Kind
The 4th Kind represents the directorial debut of Olatunde Osunsanmi, a former assistant to filmmaker Joe Carnahan (think Smokin' Aces).
Osunsanmi also wrote The 4th Kind, which is described as a fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover-up.
Jovovich has been cast to play the woman investigating the disappearances.
Osunsanmi came up with the idea of 4th Kind while filming Smokin' Aces. A production date has been targeted for late June.
Milla Jovovich is currently filming A Perfect Getaway for MGM.
