It just occurred to me that just about every CG-animation we're going to see from 2008 on will likely be available in 3D as well. Since CG-animations already require the depth and placement of characters, upgrading to the third dimension should be a cinch. Following this trend, Pixar plans to release newt through Disney's Digital 3-D technology in 2011.
