Look out for Common. One of the many rappers-turned-actors, he has been landing some big roles. We've seen him winning over Alicia Keys in Smokin' Aces, standing beside Angelina Jolie in Wanted, and will soon see him fight beside John Connor and company in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.
Common Joins Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins
Though Halcyon Pictures is shooting for a PG-13 rating for the next Terminator installment, they have packed the film with a male cast that does seem better suited for 'R'. Christian Bale and Sam Worthington have already boarded the project, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Terminator Salvation centers on John Connor (Bale), now in his 30s, who leads what is left of the human race in a battle against the machines. Common will play a freedom fighter and member of Connor's inner circle.
McG has already got his name embroidered on the director's chair.
