Lindsay Lohan has bounced back from rehab pretty well. A sexy photo shoot and a couple roles later, the young actress still has the title role in Labor Pains.
Lindsay Lohan for Labor Pains
After remaining in limbo thanks to a financial crunch at Capital Films, Labor Pains has found renewed life with Nu Image/Millennium Films.
Directed by Lara Shapiro, the romantic comedy stars Lindsay Lohan as an assistant, working in a stuffy publishing house, who pretends to be pregnant in a desperate attempt to keep her nasty boss from firing her. Chris Parnell, Cheryl Hines, Luke Kirby and Connie Britton also star.
Labor Pains gives Lindsay Lohan another chance at finding stability after a slew of personal troubles. She has been anxious to start the project ever since reading the script.
"It is a very different role for me and I look forward to the challenges it will present, and I love working on comedies."
