It looks like Katheine Heigl is looking to become one of many Morman wives. Teaming up with Relevant Entertainment to acquire the bestselling memoir of Carolyn Jessop, Escape, she will both star in and produce the feature adaptation.

If you have never heard of Carolyn Jessop, it was her testimony that helped convict polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs. Jessop was born into the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints sect. At 18 she married a man 32 years her senior, making him a mature 50. 17 years and 8 kids later, she fled from her husband with all her children in tow.
While leaving a husband sounds easy, how does one transport so many kids? And what would the other wives think? Oh the gossip!
Relevant Entertainment is currently seeking a scribe to adapt the book.
