I guess we were out of the loop on this one. A rumor has been circulating claiming that Kate Beckinsale requested a body double for her role in Whiteout. While I can care less on whether she uses a body double or not -- though I'd prefer knowing that it is her skin and curves I'm looking at -- there are those of you out there who care enough about this 'Body Double Conspiracy' that Warner Bros. figured it was time to give an official response.
Beckinsale's Second Body in Whiteout
Here is the email sent over from Warner Bros:
The claims appearing on the internet today that Kate Beckinsale requested a body double for filming on WHITEOUT are absolutely untrue. As is standard practice on many movies a body double was hired for several scenes by the production and not at the request of Kate Beckinsale. WHITEOUT producer Susan Downey confirmed that “Kate Beckinsale made no request for a body double for this production.”
