Universal to Adapt The Last Call
Published by One Press, The Last Call centers on two teens on a joyride who get hit by a train -- an interdimensional soul carrier -- and find themselves on a quest to solve a mystery that will allow them to return to their regular lives. Written and illustrated by Vasilis Lolos, the series debuted last year.
Barry Josephson has been brought on to produce while Evan Spiliotopoulos has been given the task of adapting the story into a screenplay.
Oni Press is beginning to see a lot of their properties get acquired for the bigscreen. Warner Bros. has Whiteout coming our way early next year.
