Universal Pictures has released the prologue for Hellboy II: The Golden Army that gives audiences a better understanding of where all these new creatures, never mind The Golden Army, came from in the first place.

If you read the special comic released for Hellboy II then you already know the story behind The Golden Army. Just to be sure, however, Universal converted the comic into a video (you'll recognize the visuals) that gives us the upcoming sequel's backdrop.
It's pretty long, so make sure your boss isn't walking by before watching it.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army opens to theaters on July 11th.
