Watchmen
If there is one big production out there that is impossible to predict it is Zack Snyder's Watchmen. The story is one of the most complicated of the graphic novels and the visuals are going to be tough to pull off. From what we've seen, everything about the film either looks incredibly real or surreal; Snyder's ability to combine the two is a part of his talent.
We won't really have any idea on what to expect from the film until we get a look at its first trailer, which could be due out in a few weeks.
Watchmen Contest
The good people at Collider have caught up with Zack Snyder and got the director to discuss a collection of topics on Watchmen including when we could (possibly) expect the film's first teaser trailer.
But the highlight was easily the smile that Zack gave me when I confronted him with what I know to be true…that the trailer for Watchmen is attached to the Dark Knight. Watch his reaction.
I watched the video and, when asked about the trailer, Zack Snyder is forced to look away from the camera.
For the sake of argument, one should expect to see the Watchmen teaser with The Dark Knight. I love how any time Snyder is asked if some sort of marketing ploy is going to occur, he responds with a simple, "that would be cool."
