Mamma Mia!
I'm still having a tough time getting into Mamma Mia!; and I'm a fan of musicals. You can catch me watching Phantom of the Opera, Chicago or Moulin Rouge any day, but there is just something here that I don't get.

Maybe it's the fact that some of the actors and actresses voices change drastically right when entering into song. Yeah, that could be it. Or maybe it is watching Meryl Streep bounce up and down on a bed. Er, possibly.
Whatever it is, Mamma Mia! is going to have a lot to prove when the adaptation enters theaters this month. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of elements here that are positive, it is just that I'm not being swept off my feet.
Maybe it's because I haven't seen the original performance on stage. Or maybe it's because... I could go on all day.
